The Programa Petrobras Cultural completed six editions in 2009, contemplating 1,077 cultural projects in public selections and an investment of R$ 249,8 million. The cultural projects contemplated through the curatorial process, proceeding from all the Brazilian states, enclose three types of cultural spheres – Preservation and Memory, Production and Diffusion, and Formation; eight cultural segments (Scenic Arts, Visual Arts, Cinema, Photograph, Music, Literature, Patrimony and Integrated Arts) and diverse artistic languages.
