Escaparate
Escaparate utiliza o percurso pela arquitetura urbana e recursos multimídia para revelar como as relações amorosas são construídas em uma sociedade espetacular, cada vez mais virtual.
ESCAPARATE, awarded by the prize Prêmio Myriam Muniz de Teatro FUNARTE sponsored by Petrobras, had its opening in December of 2008, executes a trail through the urban architecture and multimedia resources to discuss how love relations are constructed in a spectacular society, each day more virtual. Aiming to inquire on the intern and the external space, privacy and exposition, the spectacle searches the creation of an ambiguous atmosphere, where the couple put in scene is moved by desires and fantasies of a world made to be seen.
“Inspiration can’t help people to solve their problems! You know nothing about real people! It’s real simple just as anything else. Write anything! Any play!”
| Temporada em Florianópolis – Março 2009 |
This exposition occurs by various forms, as in scenes projected in building that discloses what it is happening in the lens of a live webcam, in a lan-house , situated meters from the place where the spectators are situated, or by the actor that constantly relates to the world mediated by its cellular phone. It is possible to trace a parallel to the invasion of privacy, explored by Michel Foucault, however, here allowed and desired by those who have their image explored. To reveal, to become plain, to become image, culminating desires of spectacle’s society.
“How much is lacking? How do I continue? Change places. Sit on the ground. It feels so good to sit on the ground. Walk. Stop. A bit of depression. No. A bit of representation. No.”
